AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF COLLINS, MISSISSIPPI, TO MAKE DONATIONS TO THE LOCAL BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Collins, Mississippi, (the "governing authorities"), in their discretion, may make monetary donations in sums not exceeding a total amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) per calendar year, from any available funds of the municipality, make monetary donations to the local Boys and Girls Club.
(2) This act, without reference to any other statute, shall be deemed to be full and complete authority for the donation of monies as authorized by the governing authorities in the manner provided by law.
(3) The governing authorities may adopt any and all lawful resolutions, orders or ordinances and do and perform any and all acts and things necessary and requisite to carry out the purpose of this act.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2004.
